AND a Happy New year to you too, grasshopper.

The color will not matter at all in the dark or in a total silt out.

You also want to mark your line arrows, cookies and reels and or spools so that you can feel that they are indeed yours. In full cave, we did a lights out air share drill while navigating back across a jump. It is very validating to be able to feel that a reel or line marker is in fact yours.

You can drill holes or file notches in a distinctive pattern in line arrows or cookies. I wrap my reels with a given number of wraps of cave line in a particular spot on the reel to make it identifyable by feel.

BUT they can certainly use any color arrows/cookies they want , as long as they are marked.
I kept pointing my arrow's down into the silt , so I gave that up and switched completely to cookies :rofl3:
Hey , Happy New Year to the two "ahem" Old Guys :D
