Made three dives at Lake Rawlings on Saturday, Sep 8th.

Water temp down to about 25' in the shallow areas was 80deg or better.
Thermocline was around 30' (and is only found above the deeper section of the lake).
Dropped down deeper for one dive and the temp at 60' was 61deg. Quite a shock when you have been tooling around in bathtub warm water just moments before. Brrrr.....

Vis, as usual, was best in the morning before things got all stirred up. At 0900 vis was about 30'. By mid-afternoon it was down around 15' or so.

The fresh water rinse station wasn't working. You might consider bringing extra water to rinse off your gear if you are as anal as I am about it.

I've never seen as many divers in the water as I saw on Saturday. Wow! Good time though! Above the thermo it was definitely 3mm territory! :D
