Rawlings Off Season?

I've only been to Rawlings during their regular season. What is the procedure for going there off season?

Their calendar says that their regular scheduled season doesn't start until 3/16, but that visits there during the off season are "by appointment only".

Also, are fills available if dive there during the off season?

Sometimes you can call them and get in on a Wensday if you pre arrange it.

They also like to have a minimum # of divers to open the gates. I think the # is 4, but don't take my word on it.
The air fills might be doable if you set it up with them beforehand. But I doubt re-fills, the last time I was there off- season they gave us the gate code & told us to lock up when we left.

Marci and I plan to go there on Friday the thirteenth through Sunday the 15th for what will be a three day dry suit extravaganza at rawlings.

If we need 4 bodies to get them to open the gates, we need 2 more people on Friday and Sunday who wanna dive with us as either same quarry buddies or as real buddies and we need 1 person on Saturday.

If air fills are not available off season, I can bring my compressor.

i just talked to them & they didn't mention a number limit, really...larry & i are staying in one of their cabins.

if anyone else would like to dive fri thru sun or maybe mon, come on down!

Did they mention anything about fills? I'm looking at going 2/14--2/15 with the wife, but we have only Nitrox dedicated tanks and would need Nitrox refills to be available for them.

I will call them on 2/10 if no one here knows for sure.

Great, thanks for the info. We will be there around 10 AM on Saturday. Hoping to get several dives in during the day and maybe one night dive.

Just FYI for anyone interested, they will NOT be able to do any nitrox fills, just air.

I finally got a call back from them today and they said they won't have anyone there who can operate the nitrox equipment.
