I think this is a great idea. I dive Jets at home but that is because I am diving a drysuit and the extra weight helps me. In warm water (thin wetsuit, no drysuit), I use Mares Quattros which are much lighter. If you are leg heavy then using heavy fins just complicates things and that is not the fault of the wing manufacturer. See if you can borrow a set of lighter fins.
