Im looking at rash guards and am wondering if I could just wear one of my Under Armour shirts instead. Its for under my 7mm suit so Im not looking for extra warmth. Any problems with this?

What is the purpose you are trying to solve. Easy on/off? I see no issue with the armour. They are similar materials.
 
After I took the suit off the back of my neck and under both arm pits were red. It fits fine so I'm not thinking its a size issue. My hood will take care of the neck, just looking for some skin protection under the arms and if it makes it any easier putting on or taking off that's a bonus.
