Hello guys,

We are going to stay for 7-10 nights at either Komodo or Raja Ampat in mid October. Which one would have the better weather conditions and where would you go if you dont have that much diving experience (we just have our Open Water and at that time around 10-20 dives)? I know that both places have strong currents, but I read that both places have few sites with not that strong currents as well, but which would suit better?

Thanks a lot in advance

October is the cusp of the season for both places so you really can't predict what the weather will be like. As for currents I would probably suggest RA for your skill level but make sure you are with a good reputable dive op that can cater to your skill level. The shallows of RA are beautiful so you do not need to go deep.
