Hello everyone
I am planning on going down to Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, and tulum at the end of September or October sometime. I hear that this is the rainy season, can anyone tell me is it constant rain, just an hour of rain a day, or brief showers?
I don't want to go if it will rain the whole time, but this is the best time for my schedule.
Thx for any help

Hot, humid and a chance of rain at any point during the day or night. Might go several days without any, or you might get a shower or three a day. My Sept/Oct experience has been that it's not usually steady rain but more fast moving downpours to up to an hour or so.

If you're plans include touring ruins, go EARLY in the day and take lots of water. It can get hot. Plan on visiting a couple cenotes, they're great for cooling off.

We went in Sept 06 for 10 days and had a great time, a bit of rain and very humid! I was under the water most of the time so I didn't really care. It was great though because there were few tourists around.

We were there in early October last year -- We had a lot of rain showers, but they were all brief. The air was warm enough that it didn't much matter, anyway.
