This is the Bahama diver who got separated from her DM dive buddy and proceeded to descend down a wall to a depth where she couldn't be rescued.

Radha Wood Mar. 27, 1941~June 3, 2009

Resident of Orinda Radha Louise Maschmeyer Wood (Louise Betty Kozniuk) leaves behind her loving Husband of 30 years, Lawrence B. Wood; Daughter Heather Maschmeyer (Moreno); Granddaughter Kayla Moreno; Sister Sharon Van Essen (Kozniuk), (Kevin, Stacey, Trevor); Father George Kozniuk. Preceded in death by Mother Lena and sister Jeanette Kozniuk Born in Vegreville, Alberta/ Canada as Louise Betty Kozniuk on March 27th, 1941. She attended the University of Alberta and UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She was a member of the Sufi Order and lived at the Abode of the Message, New Lebanon, New York. Radha's sudden passing in the Bahamas leaves a void in those whose lives she touched. She was an avid traveler, patron of the arts and yoga practitioner. Her concern for animals was exceeded only by her concern for those of lesser fortune. This was demonstrated by a lifetime of service to various community service organizations, including City of Orinda and Orinda Rotary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Marine Mammal Center, 1065 Fort Cronkhite, Sausalito, CA 94965 in her honor. A celebration of her life will be held in mid-July. Blessed are those who Mourn for they will be comforted. We will always Love you and will miss you forever.

The message board has a very long and sometimes interesting thread about this diver who went missing in the Bahamas. After reading the 700+ posts, I had a desire to see her obituary. Ran a search and was able to find it, and decided to post here.
