At the end of August I got invited to join some friends for a weekend of diving in Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island. We dove two days with Rockfish Divers and we also did a couple shore dives in the area. The main focus of the trip was to hit some good tides for Race Rocks, which is out in the Straight of Juan De Fuca and has some God's Pocket type colors and life. It was pretty mind blowing to say the least. I picked up a new Olympus TG6 camera days before the trip, and other then taking a couple random pictures laying in bed the night before to figure out what button did what, it was all huck and pray type photographing on my end. Luckily the camera doesn't have manual mode so I couldn't get too confused.
Day 1 photos from Swordfish Island, Race Rocks and Henderson Point
