...well, Keith died after they let him go, and Vince was a suicide, and Bruce (who played with the Dead, so he qualifies) is still going strong as is Tom Constanten, so this doesn't rise to the level of the Red Sox - Babe Ruth curse (ha)...

If you're going to count TC, you should also mention Merl who is also still around, although he hasn't been the same since his stroke. Apparently (according to Merl - and the gold record he has for Europe '72) Merl played organ on many of the tracks, to overdub pigpen's performances, which apparently were terrible.
