I have never used the one inch strap, only the two incher, but some have said that the one inch strap can dig into the "boys" if ya know what I mean.

Well, I've heard it said ... but usually by people who've never used one.

I use a 1-inch strap for warm-water diving in a 3-mil wetsuit ... because it's a bit less "noticeable" than a 2-inch strap. And for the lighter, warm-water rig it's all I need.

I use a 2-inch strap for cold-water diving in a drysuit ... because it's generally more supportive in the heavier system I dive for cold water. And with a drysuit and heavy undergarment, there's more padding between me and the strap.

Neither will dig into the "boys" if you have it adjusted properly.
