So to go in conjunction with the anti-shark feeding thread.
To give you a little bit of background. My son who will have just turned 14 for our PDC trip is not the most adventurous 14 year old boy in the states. I have been working real hard with him to overcome some of his fears. We were watching the travel channel this weekend, and there was a bit about Cancun. They showed a group of divers and there was a few sharks lazily swimming around these divers. When my son saw that he quickly exclaimed "I want to do that". Now I thought I heard "I don't want to do that". I responded don't worry son, we don't have to do that, then he corrected me.
Question is, will it be possible for us to do a relatively "safe" dive where we will see some sharks in July? (we will be there from July 13-18) I definitely am anti-shark feeding, especially if there is chum involved. I think that is an excellent way to get bit.
