I have a two part question.
1.) If you have a quick disconnect on your computer -how do you like it. Is it worth having?

2.) Leisure Pro has one for 60 + dollars. Another on line company has an Aires quick disconnect for 32 + dollars. Would the Aires also work on the Oceanic Pro Plus I have?

Thanks in advance for any comments

I have the pro plus with no disconnect. My buddy has a disconnet, non oceanic. Twice he aborted his dive to leaks in the disconnect. I think it is just another place to leak. You also get a chance to find out, while you are on the boat, that you left the computer connected to your PC at home

Both my wife and I have Oceanic Data Max's with quick disconnects. After a couple of hundred dives on the quick disconnects, we've never had a problem.

I have a Pro Plus 2 with disconnect, and recently added the LP quick disconnect to my wifes Pro Plus.

I download our dive data pretty much immediately after diving. It was a pain to lug the whole reg setup into the house. No matter how much I wiped it down I would always leak water all over my desk. It's really nice having the quick disc.

Ditto.
I have never had a problem with my PP2 disconnect. Love it I do.

One thing I appreciate about the quick disconnect is the ability to NOT HAVE THE COMPUTER dragging about the area while gearing up. Having to pack the computer in with the regs and possibly having the lens scratched, the ability to rotate the computer face inwards toward my body during a dive to protect the instsrument, etc., etc., etc. . . .

Guess you've figured out by now that I recommend the quick disconnect?

I like the QucikDisconnect. I have a QuickDisconnect on my Oceanic Versa Pro and another on my Aeris Atmos II. That way I can use either computer without having to change anything. That came in handy when my Versa Pro started acting up part way through a recent trip. No wrenches or O-rings needed. I just snapped on the other computer and went diving.

In addition, my buddy has an Oceanic Data Max Pro whatever-the-heck-it-is. He has the same QucikDisconnect as I do, so if his computer died, he could use one of my computers without making any changes. His spare reg is set up with a QD also, so if my reg acts up, I can use his spare without making any changes.

I like being able to carry, pack, store and download my computers separate from the regulator. As stated above they swivel nicely also.

I have never had any leaking. I just make sure that the computer is locked on tight before I charge it with air, and I check it before entering the water. You need to make sure that you keep both ends of the QD clean and dry, but that is not difficult or unreasonable.

I like the QuickDisconnects and I recommend them, but YMMV,
