My plans to buddy up with a friend in Florida the first week of June has gone to...and I have to get in the water FAST. I am doing a pretty intense dive trip at the end of June and need to get my fins wet and use to some new gear. I have been land locked since January.

Any suggestions. I do not have a buddy and don't want to spend too much. I am going on two other fairly expensive trips this Summer. (oh, I'm a teacher...that's why I have 2 months off.) I am currently living in Tennessee and have an adversion to quarries. Big Water!!! Ideas??? Offers??:D

Get a cheap rental car and drive to the gulf. Some gret deal out there and it's better than running miles up on your own car sometims.. Im sure someone here will buddy up with you. Pick a spot and post in there local forum. You might even find a free couch to sleep on.

Panama City Beach, Captain Logan on the seahunter lodging and diving for less than $200 a day. Not bad! call 850.230.0004

I'll be your lovely deckhand.

If you want really cheap look up suprbugman on SB, he's usually doing something cool on the cheap in the area.

Thanks for the info, I did get a PM that is hopeful. I was hoping people would take pitty on me and offer up some good stuff. (Hey, it is always worth asking..) That is how I ended up on a charter diving in Belize for a week for free (and a little kid watching for the folks)

Will work for diving :)
