i want to buy new bcd either back inflate or wing. Not looking for vest style.

I want to know the performance whether i can float vertical with it ? What about upside down underwater?

Im new, thats why i ask this questions

And also, is it worth getting hybrid type ? Cause i like more on wing/back inflate

I had a similar 'worry', but I can float upside-down, vertical, horitzontal, on my back and any direction I want with my backplate+wing. Works great, and feels much less 'constrained' than jacket BCs do to me. I actually find the simple hog harnass (non-adjustable) to be easier to get in and out of, and its feels much more stable both out of the water and in the water.
I personally have a Tecline rig (Czech company I believe) because a LDS had a good deal on a setup with integrated weight pockets. Now I'm just wondering whether to get a steel plate, use the trim pockets and free up even more waist real estate..

'Yes', to both questions.

Perfectly reasonable questions, for new divers or more experienced divers. You came to the right place to ask. :)

Some people like them. And, you may get responses from posters here, to that effect. Personally, I don't see any reason to get one.

The answers you want as stated above by Colliam - yes.

Personally I would stick with a simple hog harness BP&W unless you have a specific need for pockets or injuries which might dictate that a cinch type might be better (shoulder issues seem to be one type).

The basic hog harness is simple to set up (takes about 1/2-1Hr from scratch). Main things are to ensure the shoulders are not too tight (should be able to put your fist between the your shoulder and harness), you can get the waist properly fitted (the buckle or extra webbing don't foul a D'ring) and that the crotch strap is the right length (that is what really holds it in place). If possible get someone with experience to help. A good guide that might help - link

When floating vertical at the surface, the jacket pushes you up higher because it has air cell around the waist. In a wing you'll have a bubble of air at around your shoulder level and you'll be floating with only your head out of the water. That's the only difference where floating vertical is concerned, the key is to remember to not pump the wing full of air like you'd do with a jacket.
