We have a good sized crew arriving on Saturday (10/10) from various parts of the US. Just wondering what you experienced in terms of viz and water temp.

I expect to meet BonaireDan at the bar at Buddy's and hope to meet any of you other SB'ers that may be on island the week of the 10th to the 17th. The piles of dive gear accumulating on our living room floor are testament to our excitement!

Thanks to any who can provide some recent info.

I see no one has yet answered you but honestly you needn't ask, lol. Warm and great are the answers. ;) The water temp and viz generally doesn't vary much in Bonaire. My guess would be 82 degrees and 50-60fsw. Have fun! We'll be there in November!

Got back two weeks ago, but the coral was spawning and the viz was only 60ft, but the temp was 82* to 84*! Will be returning in Dec. Hope it will be better viz?

That's what we're counting on...............60-100' and mid 80's. Scubadobadoo looks like we will miss you again. One of these years...

darook..The ocean on Bonaire continually changes from day to day, from place to place and hour to hour depending upon a multitude of factors. Really, the only thing that is absolutely guaranteed is that it will be wet.

I can tell you this! Currents, Storms, Upwellings, Tidal waves, I can say this there will be NO Icebergs!
