I just received the Cressi Archimedes II Computer Console (computer+psi gauge) I had ordered.

Though the computer gives the depth reading, the Manual advises that you have another depth gauge attached to your 1st stage, I guess in case the battery dies out.

That will then add another hose for an SPG. Maybe I'd be better off just getting an analog console with PSI,depth and a compass too. I really don't need all the fancy electronics anyway and the thought of being dependent on a battery and electronics makes me a bit uneasy to begin with.

Any feedback will be appreciated. Can someone recommend a good compact analog console?

Thanks,
