I own the epl1 and use the ys1 strobe. I have just been given the uf1 strobe.
I am going to now use both strobes. My question is this, does the strobe arm lengths need to be the same. I have an ultralight arm which is a little smaller than the arm for the ys 1 strobe. Thnx in advance

Having different length strobe arms can come in quite handy by allowing you to use their different lengths to vary the power of the two strobes.
I think that you will enjoy learning to use the second strobe as it opens up a lot of variations of lighting of your subjects. . . .
Can't see any shortcomings from different arm lengths, only positives.

thnx.

In fact I prefer to have two strobe arms per strobe. Just gives you more flexibility to play with how you light a subject and can help in reducing backscatter.
