Question .....Mares Vector 1000 AT w/ MRS

Can anyone offer any advice on the (Mares Vector 1000 AT w/ MRS. I have just been certified and am looking to purchase this BCD. Thanks, Ronnie

I can't give you specific info on this bcd, but I can tell you what happend to my gf Jubilee in less then 15 dives.

First dive: we tried to close one of the back trim zipper,one of them broke (not the tag, but the ZIPPER itself).
A few dives latter: 2 Mares cosmetics unglued from the valves.
At the end of the trip: every stitches from the MRS weigth system on the bc were verry verry loose(in fact, scarry loose).

We went back to our lds, they took a look at it and sent it to Mares...
Good thing is, it only took two weeks to received an offer from Mares for a replacement.
Bad thing: this bcd was discontinued, they couldn't replace or fix the zipper so they offered to replace it by a Dacor Falcon, ...

So here is the advice: be sure that for the same price you couldn't get anything better.

BTW we have Mares regs and love them, but again one of them lost the comestic on the 2nd stage (in lest then 15 dives).

P.S. the end of the story: my gf offered 200$ more to our lds (and the lds had to get a credit for the bc from Mares) , and purchase a Zeagle Stiletto instead of replacing it by a Falcon.
