i know you get as close as possible but how close, on average, are you getting? 3-4" at wide or 6'ish" with a little zoom? my TG610 needs a little "stand off" distance to focus (with only 1 UCL165) so i have to back off a little and use a little zoom.
I don't think I have ever actually measured it but I know the front of the port is really close to the subject. I suspect the 3-4" plus or minus is right with one (on the Oly 5060). If you stack two it gets really critical where the focus plane is because you have a VERY narrow depth of focus. I usually let the camera focus and then rock in and out just a bit to get it right. It seems like I have to do the same zoom technique as well. They are somtimes finicky to use but you can get some cool pictures that way!
