When I stayed there for my OW checkout dives, I noticed that the "cool folks" had brought pipes along to hang from the two hooks outside the rooms. That way, they had a closet rod for hanging all their gear.

However, I failed to note the diameter and length of the pipes. I'm headed back down next weekend for a couple of specialty classes and would like to use that system.

Can anyone share that info? Thanks.

I don't know the answer, but it's a cool idea.

I've done something similar at home in the shower stall -- I installed a second shower curtain rod
centered as high up as I can hang a hanger (for 6'5" me, that's right up near the ceiling. It's a
great place to dry dive gear, and laundry that doesn't go through the dryer.

I was successful with 1" PVC. I cut it to 8', but that was too long (at least outside Room 23). (I just bent it a bit to fit outside the posts.)
