Question for military docs

I'm a 1st year medical student on the Army's HPSP program. I have recently heard that the army has a Dive Medical Officer program, or at least sends people through the Navy's program. I was wondering if any of the military docs out there know anything about this or more importantly how I might get myself into said program either during 4th year rotations or after I get out of med school. Thanks.

Heh, if I can ever find anyone who knows I'll let you know. I love the "collective" knowledge of the army. Everyone knows a little, but no one really knows anything.

I don't know about the Army, but the Air Force PJs put flight docs through the Navy's DMO program. An inlaw of mine was with the PJs and went through the DMO class two years ago. As with any of these programs, slots were scarce and only give to docs who were likely to face dive-related injuries. You'd probably need to be assigned to a group that had divers before they'd consider you for a slot.
