I just purchased a new Ike dual grip tray... to me it looks like one of the grips has a slight inward cant to it.

They should be vertical. Something could be bent, or a thread or screw could be misaligned.

They should be perfectly vertical. Yours must have bent during shipping or a screw is cockeyed.

If the retailer or LDS where you bought it will not jump on getting it fixed, Ikelite will. Their customer service is excellent. Esp. when you have a receipt showing that it's brand new.
The retailer should have noticed the problem before it came to you.
