morning person or evening person

I guess the fact that I'm still up at 12:18 a.m., surfing 3 Ebay windows and Scubaboard kinda answers that question. Have been a severe night person all my life.

I remember lying in bed for hours most nights when I was a kid, trying my best to fall asleep. My sister and I shared a room, she was a noisy sleeper who crashed when her head hit the pillow. I would climb in bed and my mind would kick into gear... sigh. Alas, the world does not march to my beat.

Which reminds me that I have lots of energetic little people to face, early tomorrow morning. Better poof.

Foo

P.S. Question: Did you ever jump off a high place, thinking you could fly? Got any good scars to prove it?

Foo, shame on you for staying up so late. Here at work 6a to 6p not much going on so I have to stay up, therefore SB until something happens. Always been night person also. I hate getting up early in the a.m. Until this job that has shift work I always had to get up early.

Yes, as a kid I tried to fly. Was lucky enough to only get a small scar on my back. Hit a dead limb when I landed on my back. It's a wonder I didn't break something.

I dont mind getting up early. I also go to bed late -if you consider midnight late?
5 hours deep rem sleep does it for me.

I can't remember if I was trying to fly, but assume so...
When I was one year old I took a leap off the top step in my parents house.
Down about 12 steps. Seven stiches on my forehead. Nice scar but it's starting
to get lost in a wrinkle. Been jumping off things and getting stiched back together
ever since.

next same question...

Never thought I could fly but was always jumping off of something. Never got hurt but the knees sure know it now. Let it get cold and damp and I cuss myself every time.

What was the worst surgery that you ever had?
Mine would be my last, sinus surgery. Wasn't that bad but try living with 4' of packaging material up each side of your nose for three days..no you can't breath through your nose.

never had surgery, hopefully never will need it

the most ridiculously painful surgery I have had before (and I have had a fair share of surgeries) was after my mother ran over my foot with the Kibbutz car. first, the local hospital (Yoseftal, GREAT hospital..) could'nt perform the procedure to peice together all 5 metatarsels, and the hospitals in TLV all full, so they tried to get me to a great hospital in Port Said, but relations were still thawing at the time with israel and egypt... so that was a no go. So the had me on morphine until the could get me in a helicopter to TLV so I could get my foot corrected. Even with the morphine, it still hurt. Also, I had to get pins in my foot, and pins keeping my foot together.... it was pretty nasty, and it HURT! it hurt A LOT afterwards. .

Cut off the end of my right little finger. The Doctor removed the remaining bone at the next joint like you do when seperating chicken leg from thigh. He then sewed it up. I watched the whole time. Does this count as sergery?

fixing my torn rotater cuff and sizing down the ball thingy that goes into the socket..... and I thought a c-section was bad at one time, pfftt! I think I stayed on pain killers for well over 4 months. Ouchy stuff!

If I put ice in my wine, does it make me a bonifide redneck? :D (it's piss warm and I want to drink it NOW) lol

HMMM, I think ice in wine is not only on the redneck list but also on the Paul Mason list of "what the heck are you thinking" list.
Takes those ice cubes and lay them in a pan or bowl. Spin the wine bottle in the ice and it will chill rather quickly. This can also be done with just about anything bottled or canned.
This post is probably too late but oh well, you will know for the next time.
