A sincere suggestion: put some lucky bamboo in the vase and if you want to have a completely equilibrated system, put in another low level light plant (can't think of any sorry) that the fish can nibble at.


q: where's your next travel destination planning to be?

a: Yap!! Hubby wanted to see Manta's and i hear even on a bad day diving you get them here so 170 days and counting!

b: i also have been given a fish tank, i have it in my feng shui wealth corner of my office but no fish yet - do i buy 2 fat gold fish or 5 tiny fish (dont know their name)that wont poop as much but not as colourful?

how big's the tank? I'm a cichlid fan so I'd go for the 5 fish. Or you could get livebearers (but not mollies) cause they'll make babies! And goldfish make a lot of mess (more cleaning).

q: where was your last non-diving vacation?

A: 1997 when i did Alaska, Yukon & British Columbia for 12 weeks, living in a tent - fantastic, changed my life.

B: Would you consider going on a non-diving vacation and if so, where would you like to go?

Disney World (although for a nominal fee you can dive in the Living Seas at Epcot while you're there, and its still not technically a "diving vacation")
