Some states are different. Here you sign a card that they keep on file, but it doesnt matter anyway--- you have to make sure your wishes are known to your next of kin who will make that decision or the doctors wont take the organs for fear of lawsuits.

Q: What sparked your original interest in diving?

Adventure in exploring an alien environment. Learning about the history of the wrecks on which I could dive. Marveling at a diversity of life that we live so close to yet barely understand, but most of all...it just really looked liked like it would be fun!

A: im from sydney australia, in '97 i met a guy in Alaska that told me all about diving in Baja and it got me thinking about all the things in life i hadnt done and to change some of them... havent been to Baja YET but been to some other fantastic places in the meantime and changed my life for the better

Q: to lighten the mood - what was the most stupid/funny/strange birthday/christmas gift you ever got?

the most HIDEOUS xmas gift that i have gotten was from my step mother- she likes to make clothes for people, but she is no gloria vanderbuilt!! she has made me a night gown that is 5 sizes too big and my body could almost fit out the neck hole- she has also made me this blue-green "jogging suit" but her intentions was for me to wear it out on a friday night or something! she also made me a dress out of material that looks like my great grandmothers old tablecloth!! it was covered in flowers (which i am not exactly a flowery girly girl!!)

Is there any way to get a buddy to dive with when you're off in the middle of the week (not the week end)?

Suggestions: go to dive club meetings and scubaboard to find local divers that dont work in the middle of the week (or get paid days off)- not a whole lot of them around from what it seems
