I tend to disagree with your answer, but will answer your question. We more or less evovle as we grow older, wiser and how we are effected by our enviroment. I am roughly the same "grumpy, personality challenged, misunderstood" person I was at 18, but I have learned to be more tolerant of the world around me. I do not think my 18 year old self would recognive the 40 year old me. But the 40 in me would see the growth from the 18.

Is it really about perspective?

Only if your an artist. Sometimes, it's the extreme perspectives that help us to admire the beauty of simplicity.

Does perspective increase with hindsight or foresight?

No it's all about the money and of course how good looking you are :rofl3:

What's your favorite dive movie?

20,000 Leagues = A most AWESOME movie. I still have the disney novel from my childhood downstairs ... cool illustrations :)

Use a rebreather to stay shallow for hours or dive deep with decompression?

Now that you mention it, no I don't.

Would it be useful to me to read up on it?

Yes, as in the state of New York owns anything on the bottom for more than 30 days. As I understand it.

If you found something of historic value, who would you report it to?

I'd first contact either a local (highly reputable) museum or trusted professor in the "items" field for further advice. I'd rather have it "open" for all to see and enjoy, than to be tucked away in a collectors private "library".

If you found something of historic value, and the law said you had to relenquish it to the state, would you?
