First salt water dives? You'll love it!

No, the wife and I did our big trip this past year to Cozumel. We may go down to Florida(ocala), to visit my sister and hers(Pennsicola), next summer, if not we'll be diving the local quarries.

Where do you dive mostly?

In the sea!! Duh:D Sorry off exmouth devon uk

Prefer a boat or the shore?

"Where do you dive mostly?"

Mostly the Fingerlakes as that is where most of my diving friends keep thier boats. Dive Charters in New York are few and far between because of all the insurance the state has mandated. Typically we head up to Alexandria Bay and the St. Lawerance a few times a year. In A-bay next to the hospital is an old wreck called the Islander burned in like 1918 +/- and is as easy of a shore/wreck dive you will ever find. Have gone to Canada a dove a wreck called the Robert Gaskin which is a very cool wreck in 70' of water but it is less than 1/2 a mile from the shipping channel. Trying to convince one boat owner to start diving some of Lake Ontario. And of course we try to make Dutch Springs in Pa (about 4 hrs. south) once or twice a year.

Boat

What are your local quarries like?

Boat dives, not as much effort as shore.

same?

Local quarries can be very low viz and cold. Usually use a 7mm suit with hood and gloves, cumbersome, but not to bad if you feel the need to blow some bubbles.

Yes

Have you ever mixed up this thread with Pick 1/Post 2?

don't know

What is your guess for the final number of posts for this thread?

if i have anything to do with it, somewhere in the region of 10,000 :D

You're driving a bus. In whickam you pick up 20 passengers, in essex, 6 get off and 9 get on. 20 minutes later in devon, 4 get on whilst one gets off. then in manchester another 3 get off. then 2 get on, then 5 get on, then 7 get off, then 2 get of, then another 4 get on.

What is the bus drivers name?
