Drinking coffee in an orange Rainforest Cafe mug from Seattle and sitting with my laptop on my lap.

What are you going to cut, Midnight?

Yeah! It's a 5150 (a great lap warmer when it heats up!)

Did you know i'm also Midnight Star on the Dell forums? :D

It's mostly a forum setup to let Dell users help other users with their computing problems. :)

Have you ever tried using your laptop on a "cafe" network?

I've actually never tried it (remember, I'm not an avid coffee drinker - i'm already too wired as it is!) But i've connected to other home based networks as long as there were either "unsecured" or I had the wireless security setting match those of the network. To me, a cafe would be for good coversation, not computers!

Do you donate old computers? or toss them out?

I donote my old ones to Goodwill. After, of course, that they've been stripped bare of data.

If money were no issue, what one piece of dive gear would you buy?
