I recently bought a Panasonic TZ3 Lumix for my wife and took it on a trip out west with us (not scuba related). It seems to take some very nice photos, but I'm wondering if there is a way to use filters with it. We were in Yosemite and the Grand Canyon, but it was fairly hazy. Also in a lot of the shots, the sky is washed out. In the old days of my Canon 35mm, I would put on a UV haze or polarizing filter to help out with this. Is there some way to remedy this in the future, or can it be dealt with in post processing? I'm going to be downloading GIMP or Paint.net that I've heard about to see if I can do anything with either of these programs (I don't have Photoshop yet-- I thought I would try the free programs first). Thanks for any info you can offer!
