Need a heads-up about the private side at Windy Point. (Richard's Place)
I am wanting to know with the lake level being so low is it going to be a PITA trying to get in and out of the water with double 108s using the set of stairs at the North end of the property?

Thanks in advance

Dave

It's fine, just have to go down a few more steps, but all of the staircases are still staircases when they hit the water. There's no issues with rocks or difficult entry/exit.

It's just that the platforms are about 12' shallower than before and you have to walk up/down like 10 more steps.

Not a concern at all!

PvilleStang:
go to http://www.windypointpark.com/uwmap.asp and on the right hand column it will ask you for the current lake level (659) and then it will tell you what's still underwater (positive numbers) and what's run dry (negative numbers: looks as if only two things are "out of the water"). Double 108's might be fun...

What a great link.

Thanks
Dave

I don't think that's working right. I know the Jet skiier isn't at 8', he's closer to 20', or at least was a couple weeks ago; I don't think we lost 12' in two weeks.

If I end up going tonight, I'll verify some of that.

lakes at 659. 22 feet below that usual level. They're actually measuring from the actual jetski (not the anchoring point) to the surface.

Yeah, even the handlebars (highest point) seem deeper than 8'.
