Question about the oceanic pro plus 2

I just got an oceanic pro plus 2 on ebay and I replaced the battery as it wouldn't turn on and it still doesn't turn on. Does it need to be connected to a regulator and/or tank to turn on?

No, it turns on whether on a tank or not. Sorry, maybe you bought a faulty unit.

Scubadada is absolutely correct, as long as you have a battery in it, it should turn on right away and start doing a count down

maybe try remove the battery, try another battery? Maybe didnt boot up properly?

I used the battery that came with it and went out to buy a new battery from RadioShack and the brand new battery didn't work, so I'm assuming the guy sent me a crap one to try and get money. Funny for him paypal holds the money. lol
