I learned to blend nitrox from the companion. Used his formula to program an TI calculater to do the math for blending. His books are fun and instructional. Tried to use his po2 formula when i took TDI,s gas blending course at DEMA.He blending was simpler than the course. That triangle crap never made sense.

If you are serious about diving nitrox or working on your own regulators these books are a must.

I haven't read the blending book. I bought the regulator one, the divelight one, and the drysuit one. I found the regulator and drysuit books to be superb references, with a lot of information that was immediately useful. I found the one on divelights to be primarily aimed at the serious DIYer who wants to build his own lights. I gave that one away.
