For traveling to various places in Indonesia….for prescription medicines …..if the medicine is in the original container with the prescription label applied to it , do I need to also get the doctor to write a letter ?? Or is the prescription label in the original container acceptable ? Also…..when I travel I put all my vitamins/supplements into the plastic weekly pill container organizers that have a compartment for each day and I will have several weeks worth of those with me. Do they examine or get concerned about all your vitamins and such like that? Im hoping we don’t have to bring vitamins /supplements in their original containers? Also I’m taking a collagen peptide product daily. It’s a powder but I’m planning to take that in its original bag. Thanks in advance for your experience on this.

There's another thread on this question, and I think the answer was yes, although some people here, including me, have never been asked for a letter. It may help, though, to carry a copy of the written prescription. Keep the meds in the bottle with the label.

You should be okay with the pill organizer. If they confiscate it, it's not as big a loss as the prescription meds.

I'm not sure I would carry a bag with powder, especially if it's white, anywhere outside the USA. That's asking for an inspection. Can you store it in a less conspicuous container?
