I am using a Oly C5050 with PT 15 housing, and am thinking about getting a strobe for it.
At this time, I am leaning towards Inon (probably 2000) for the camera, but I was just wondering if they have a set price and no negotiation? All the retailers seem to advertise their price as $509. That's quite a bit of cash for me. Anyone know if there's anyone out there selling it for less?

Also, I have a Motormarine II set-up with the tray, strobe arms and two YS strobes. Can I use the tray and arms for the Oly housing and Inon Strobe? Or do I have to buy brand new tray and arms?

Appreciate any comments.

I was just looking at it too. I purchased my first one, D180, from Yuzo and was very happy with the service and speed of delivery. The exchange price is $443.8056 plus shipping. Write Yuzo and and ask if you can use it on your existing tray.

Most dealers will deal some. If you package together more items (ie. arms, tray, eyc) they have more room to deal.

If a person needs warranty work or help with setting up their rig, I would sure rather deal with someone in the country where I live. I buy my u/w gear from Ryan at Reef Photo . He has competitive pricing, is VERY knowledgeable, and speaks my language (well he doesn't have the Southern drawl that I have :-)).

Dave;
I bought the 2000W as part of a package (arm, try, strobe & sync cable) so as I can use the strobe with my camera and when the life of the camera fades, will still be able to use it with other Digital SLRs. Reefphoto.com was able to Fed Ex it to me since I needed it faster than the normal free shipping mode. We had the localy erupting volcano downgraded to a code Orange so I was able to receive the strobe quickly from Fed Ex a few days ago. They have good service.

I bought an Inon for my Olympus 5000 and PT19 housing. Inon has very limited distribution in the US and the retailers seem to get their price. If you find a cheaper source, please post it.
