I didn't see a reference to this show anywhere after doing a quick search on it and I've been seeing it advertised on the Military Channel.

I don't know how "good" it will be but, for what it's worth, you can check it out here.

Hey everyone,

I hope you caught the first 2 episodes of "Quest for sunken Warships" on the Military channel The newest episode on the USS Oriskany will be primering tomorrow night at 10pm! If you havent seen any of them they are ALL SHOWING tomorrow night WED NOV 7th. Starting at 8pm on the Military channel.

Hope you all tune in and watch. They are well done and hey its a diving show! This one will focus on the Mighty O in Floridas panhandle, its the largest artifical reef in the united states at just over 900ft long. We shot video from the bow and props at 218 feet up to the control tower in the island, we peneterate to check out the flare locker where a fire happend during the Vietnam war plus so much more. This show brings in mixed gas, rebreathers, and DPV's to be able to capture the entire wreck.

Hi Becky:

I've seen all of the previous shows now and while some material was certainly new and interesting, a lot of it just didn't do it for me.

Maybe I'm "old school" (i.e, the "Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau" old school), but I've always thought the ocean and diving needs to be the main subject of interest. Maybe producers these days expect you to say "a BRAVE team of divers" and "DANGEROUS conditions" and all that other stuff to add drama, but if I wanted DRAMA I'd be watching Lifetime...

Why can't we have a diving documentary series that approaches the subject like "Blue Planet" did?

I don't know... really, I appreciate your work and I sincerely wish you folks success. I suppose it's easier to criticize and a lot harder to actually do it.
