Still looking for information about this dive accident for the Ontario Underwater Council. After much back and forth with the Australian police (much of it caused by me emailing the wrong departments) I did find out that the victim was from the province of Ontario. They did not have the home city/town of the 63-year old woman. Several tries to the Canadian consulate in Australia resulted in being told they could not release her home city because of Cdn privacy laws. Does anyone know where the victim lived in Ontario? We are trying to put together a fatality report and information on the accident is very very limited. Stephen@stephenweir.com
