I am looking for a place to go diving this weekend. I live in WV, but I am not too far from the Marietta, OH border at work. Is there a lake or quarry close to this area - between Marietta, Athens or Columbus maybe for me to get wet?

Thanks for any help in advance.

By Columbus, do you mean Columbus OH? If so, Circleville Twin Quarries is just south of there. Not a deep dive spot, but some stuff to look at on the bottom.

Yes I do mean Columbus OH. Thanks for the info.

I forget the name, but isn't there a lake in WV where they do some scuba training (and no, I don't mean Mt Storm)? A friend from Pittsburgh use to drive down to it.

Summersville?!? Yes they do some diving there, and I have gone a few weekends this summer. I was just looking for something a little different. Viz has been pretty bad there the last couple of times. Not a lot fo things to play with either, but still fun for getting hydrated.
