the pet store down the street sells them; some people find them in the wild, but catching them is usually out of the question, even though I have seen, and used, other means to get them out of the sky.

If you have a Bass Pro Shop nearby, they'd be bound to have them.

I think Divers Direct. Dove with some guys in Key Largo that had one. Pretty funny. I don't think it conforms to DIR etc....

Quakers really don't ever say much, no matter what you do to them. Infact, once I heard about a Quaker man that was being robbed. He went and got his gun and walked in to the room and said very softly and politely to the man robbing his house "Friend, I would do thee no harm for the world, but thee standest where I am about to shoot."

Oh, quacker noisemaker? Like a sub duck? Do you want one that makes noise above or below? If above, I'd invest in a whistle. You don't need air in your tank to use a whistle. If below, Is ee your point. Was nice in class for my instructor to use to get our attention. Scubatoys probably has them. Otherwise ther eare several other board sponsors who probably have them, and all of them have "scuba" in the name and I can never remember the rest. Check out the "hot deals" forum and you should find links to their sites there. Several of them give discounts to SB members, but you might have to call them to get it.

If you put cheeze on a quacker it quiets them down. Day go gud with whine 2. :D

I learned to hate those diving with a DM that had one. I do under in part for the peace and quiet. Hate noise makers. If you can't grab your buddy, get closer.

Please don't get one. There is a better way to remain in complete contact with your team, team mates, or buddy.

honestly, whenever I hear something underwater, I dunno where it's coming form anyways. I second getting a whistle. The Storm whistle claims to work underwater.

I need to try my Storm Whitle and Diver Alert underwater - see if they really do work? Wouldn't want to use either unless it's an emergency, tho - and of course, to use the whistle, the diver has to take the reg out of his/her mouth, not something I recommend.
