Hi to everybody, have Q . about headache on safety stop. This is what happened.
First dive was to 75 feet for 37 minutes, we did the safety stop on 15 feet and everything was great. We put 1 hour and 15 minutes surface time and go on second dive to 60 feet for 35 minutes. We stop again to do the safety stop and this is what happened, I get pain and pressure, but only on right side of the neck and head. But soonest we reach the surface pain was mostly gone and you can just feel somehow that any pain was there little while ego. Any idea what happened and it is any serious problem I could have ? I do have little elevated HBP, but is controlled by medication. Which bring my another Q. If you are diving, is your BP going down or up under water ? Any idea ? I em new to diving and for sure heavy breather, could this be to much O2 ?

No idea on the pain, but you should check with DAN about your BP meds. Not all classes of BP meds are safe to dive with.

I had this happen too, after a Nitrox dive. During the safety stop, and after getting out, I had an intense headache and a general feeling of malaise... All I could really say is, "I don't feel right, at ALL!" It passed after a short while, but it worried me quite a lot, at the time. The closest thing I can figure, is that I either ascended too quickly, or I got a bad tank of air.
