Wow, who is Mr. BAllen? Hopefully, for his own good, he works a little harder in the future to uncover facts before posting some titillating but speculative version of an incident. Is he on SB? I’m not sure the guy can (for me) recover from such an impostrous yarn.

Second, it sounds to me like the risk that got the better of Shane was using a backmount RB in highly restrictive terrain where a SM RB was the better choice. Easy for me to be an armchair quarterback but it gets back to identifying if one has the right equipment for the dive. I can totally understand the temptation to follow Mike to the end of the line.

RIP, Shane Thompson. Sorry you to had to go out in such an unpleasant way. I hope your family has found some consolation with the years.
