For those of you thinking of buying your next piece of dive equipment on-line through Deepbluediving.com you may be interested to see their response when it comes to honouring their repairing or replacement commitment. To follow is a response from their sales manager to a request I made regarding a faulty Marse Thermal Wetsuit purchased through this mob..

so much for building sustainable relations with your customer base...:banghead:

Were there no disclaimers that these were closeout products?

wow I would not buy from them!must of got a heck of a deal??

That is the difference between someone who is factory authorized repair facility and one who is not. We service everything we sell and stand behind it with our personal Guantaree. Why would any company do anything different than that????

Come visit us anytime........mention Scuba Board and well take care of you.

Darn salesmen:)...There are alot of prior threads on buying stuff online.

Rawls.......I'm a diver like you dude. We just happen to own a web site and dive shop. We are small and take care of our customers.......period.

SCUBA BRAD...I was really joking about the salesman thing. I guess that's what the reply was about. If I offended you in any way then I regret it. I know there are those who don't take care of their customers, but I truly believe that most shops go out of their way to help and satisy their customers and I have no doubt you are one of them. Again...I hope you will understand my attempt at a lighthearted reply in my post. Nothing serious at all...

well, if the guy bought the suit "as-is" and with no warranty, then... no warranty
means no warranty

if they promised him a warranty and then renegued on it, that's just plain wrong

and what exactly went wrong with the wetsuit anyway?
