Hello everyone, I was just certified on Sunday morning, already started my advanced with a 101 foot dive right afterwards. I will be advanced before my trip to Punta Cana next month, but being so new I need some advice.

What shop to use, where to dive. I have talked to one PADI dive shop vie email, but want the best. I want to do some caves, minor ones, and some wreck dives which they agreed to do, but I dont want to be there and miss the best diving. Please respond if you know of a great spot or two. Not worried about the cost, the entire trip is free, except for the diving?

Thanks so much for the help.

Most of the divers say that the best diving is in Bayahibe about hour and half from Punta Cana area. Look at the dive map and you will see 2 wrecks St. George and Atlantic Princess. Also caves, but there are not suitable for unexperienced divers. So if you want to experience THE BEST, you won't find it probably in Punta Cana.
I haven't been diving personally around Punta Cana (did a lot on the north coast), but search on this forum what others said about Punta Cana diving and how they ended up coming here.
If you need more info you can email me at info@divingdominicanrepublic.com

My wife and I went to Bayahibe DR and dove 6 days and 1 night with Vlaid (DRSharky) and Bruno. It was great and I would highly recommend them.
