Neptune Dive and Ski out did themselves today. The 9th annual Pumpkin Carving at Clarks Hill Park was a success. 14 pumpkins from buddy teams. Lots of folks, lots of divers in 66 degree water with limited vis. All divers received a prize. Nice stuff too (dive bags, masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits, dive lights, t shirts, dive flags and floats, etc.). Good food and good company. I was hoping for the NFI (no f...ing idea) pumpkin trophy , but alas, it was not meant to be. Someone thought it looked like a shark. I was accused of doing a repeat from a few years back, but I countered that it was not, my last one was a tiger shark, this was a meg (of prehistorical interest). A shame that folks cannot seem to tell the difference... Art is fickle.

Sounds like fun. You have any pics of the winner's?
