Puerto Vallarta / Yelapa Diving???

We will be staying in Yelapa during May and I really want to get in at least one day of diving. However, I understand the only dive operators are out of Puerto Vallerta which sounds like it is a bit of effort to get to PV and back and makes for a very long day. If anyone has some experiences with trying to do this and wouldn't mind sharing the logistics, recommended shops, etc. that would be much appreciated. I don't suppose any shops will pick you up in Yelapa but if so, please advise. Thanks!

You might want to check out www.laolaocean.com. I've dove with them several times and they give very personalized service. Both Alex and Donna are very experienced divers and great people. They might be willing to pick you up in Yelapa and then you could dive one of the sites on that end of the bay. They are a really good shop to go with. I've never been disappointed. Happy diving!
