Puerto Vallarta: Wet suit needed?

We are new divers getting ready for our first dives, other than our certification dives in a quarry. We are going to be diving in Los Arcos this week. Will we need wet suits? Dive master said we can if we want, but he doesn't think we will. Has anyone done any recent diving here?

Water was plenty warm for me. Small jellies were all over the surface on one of the dives so a suit may not be a bad idea.

This time of year should be fine either way. I would personally wear one, but it probably isn't what I'd consider necessary.
