Another vote for Pacific Scuba. Nice operation.

See if they might be going to Los Marietas (sp?) Islands. Long boat ride, but the diving is nice and the island is quite interesting.

Well, there are also other good diving companies that i will recommend. Pacific scuba, twin dolphins, and vallartech.

For good sites to dive there, i can recommend marietas, and a visit to the "playa del amor" during the break between dives, and chimo (this last site is for advanced divers). Hope you can enjoy diving there. Good luck, october is a great time for diving, hope you can see some giant mantas there.

Pitah.

Honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta oct. 1-8, both me and fiance have advanced certs. any good places to dive or recommended operators? :07:

Thanks

i would suggest vallartech. they will take care of you . and PV has some fabulous attractions. If you like the small stuff. a friend is a specialist on nudibranchs and if your shedules meet she could take you and show you how beautiful small stuff could be. Have fun . everyone says PV isn't a dive destination. well, they are wrong, You will have fun. Enjoy.

PV isnt a dive destination. The only thing that it has going for it is that it is warm water. The dive operations are pretty rickety and you can only rent aluminum tanks. They dont use DIN or steel anywhere. The gear is subpar. They are too much about making a profit. But its mexico, so what more should you expect.

How often have you been there and what sites did you dive?

I Have Been To PV About 10 time in the past 8 Years that Is the Place I had one of my first dives i did not like the my encounter with PS when i found the outfit Twin Dolphins they are the reson why i keep coming back they are profesionals the vesal's are nicer than ps their vesal has Restroom and prices are more resonable and for those who like to go private. they cater to us. i am a rebreather diver who likes to rent a vesal, guide, and a captian all to my self. you will enjoy Twin Dolphin's Outfit GoodGuys There!
