It has sold. The new name is Puerto Aventuras Water Sports. I understand some of the people are the same. I don't know how much the business model has changed.

I looked at the website, and in a group photo, I see at least one person (the DM Alex) that was there before.

and definitely would hop over a couple of days to Cozumel and try to maximize the number of dives there, but logistics from the Barcelo base are pretty impossible to make it to the morning dives on the island.

If you decide to go with Dressel Divers, you can check out the following:

From PDC (where I used Dressel), they offered afternoon Cozumel dives in their different packages. May be an option for you - although a longer day, because of travel, they take care of everything, transportation to the ferry and back, ferry passes, transportation to their dive shop at the Coz Iberostar and back to the ferry (their boat picked us up/dropped us off at the ferry pier), and access to the all-inclusive (as time provides.)
