We took some divers out to Lobos on Sun on our 20 ft. RIB. Unfortunately we missed the lake-like conditions by a week. It seems as though we've had bad luck with swells on our trips there the last 4-5 times. 4-6 ft. short interval wind swell with 10-15 knts of wind. Larger sets and stronger gusts intermitently. A negative low tide at about 9 am made for some surgy conditions.

Anyways, no diving the outer pinnacles area, we stayed tucked inside Bluefish Cove. The diving was still really fun. Milky water due to the larege wind swell. Vis was about 15-20 ft. with some spots that opened up into 30+. Water temp was about 46-48 at depth, depending upon whose computer you used. Funny how computer temps can differ by a few degrees. Dove the wall area on the west side of the cove first. Fun dive with lots of nudis and eggs. Large vermillions and a couple of lings. Second dive was the middle of the cove area, through the swim-through and down the reef to the north-east. Lots of good stuff again.

Nothing too special except a fun day of diving and everyone came back safe. It's always fun just to get out on the water. Maybe next time we'll get lake pacific!
