That's not that bad it does come with the vindicator knob that is usually a $15-20 upgrade.

what manifold is on them currently?

if they are stamped e9791, there is a chance they are 3500 psi 7/8 unf neck tanks. in which case, it is unlikely you can plug the manifolds.

xs scuba sells new 7/8 valves, but the price is kinda high.

The plugs to go where the cross bar used to go are no different between 7/8" and 3/4" necked valves. But the actual plug depends on the valve brand.

the 7/8 manifolds are commonly sherwood/genesis. the sherwoods you can't plug because they use a face seal cross bar and need caps instead. the genesis ones you can plug but the plugs are hard to find. that generally makes it very tough to split the 7/8 manifolds.

^ not quite. The sherwoods can't be plugged period because caps were never made for them. You see them with OMS manifolds fairly regularly and those are the ones that need the caps. Northeast Scuba Supply usually has the plugs for the genesis manifolds if it is one of those

I have 2 PST e9791 tanks and need to convert from the doubles set up to singles. Can someone give me a part number to do so?
Thanks

Photos would help. It really does depend on the manifold as well as the tank.

seriously, 7/8" neck thermos take the same plugs as 3/4" thermos. Ditto the OMS caps, they fit valves for either size neck thread.
The tank neck thread isn't relevant, its all about the manifold.

If the OP has a Genesis manifold they will need replacement valves with the proper neck thread.

In some other situations depending on the age and condition of the manifold, and on whether they need to be able to use a yoke regulator, they may be better off replacing the valve.
